Hello, not really, I just haven't been able to work on it, personal issues and such, there would be a final update but unfortunately I can't promise and actual date, sorry for that.

Is the file “Asset pack RE-WORK - Update 01.20.rar” the assets or just the updated parts since v1.00?

Update 01.20 Is all of the updated parts since V1.00 reorganized with the original files, I haven't been able to update the page but that version (01.20) should be the main set of assets to download before downloading any other updates.

From what I can tell, the drill machine from update 1.17 is not included in the 1.20 file. Did I miss it somewhere?

I think the minerals from the 1.00 is also missing from 1.20. I also could not find the “green gem” version of the image. Is it in one of the packs?

Awesome sprites overall. I bought them to use them for a game I wanted to submit for the Weekly Game Jam but I ran out of time.

I found a couple of issues with the asset pack that I want to share:

  • There is no information about auto-tiling.
  • The Sand tileset from the 1.1 update is missing a few tiles that are needed to setup auto-tiling. The Mars and Purple tileset do have them so I don’t see any reason that the Dirt would not.
  • The Tile Sets are split into multiple files and I found it difficult to keep track of what is where
  • The naming convension on most of the files is inconsistent.
  • Each frame of the plants gworing is offset a bit, making it difficult to sell the illusion that the plant is growing
  • The austronaut has North, South, West and South East facing sprites. However, a North East frame is missing, making it difficult to achieve 9 directions of movement.
  • The buildings are not modular at all. I found it very difficult to set up the walls in such a way as to be used with a Tile Map.

Even with these issues, this is an excellent asset pack and I do not regret buying it.

Definitely need this set to be completed. Greenhouse crops, buildings are priority!

I know, I kind of rush it, however when I read your comment I decided to work and finish the first set of crops along with new terrain tiles, you can check it our in the new update.
